As the demand for solid Machine Learning software development increases, RaRe has realized a need for an equally solid internal growth team and recently added two new hires into the mix. Chris Lakatos has joined the company as the Director of Marketing while Jeff Hoey has joined heading up Business Development.
Each bring with them ample experience in technical fields to include industries like high performance computing, chemistry, software as a service and software development. Their focus at RaRe will be to expand the company’s brand, outreach campaigns in lead generation and client care activities from project inception to delivery.
“We’re delighted to welcome Chris and Jeff to the RaRe Technologies team,” said Radim Rehurek, CEO of RaRe Technologies. “They bring an extensive set of talents and experience that can only translate into real results for current and prospective clients. The timing is right for this new growth team to impact RaRe’s 2016 activities.”
Chris and Jeff hit the ground running with RaRe as they collaborated on an upcoming project, Pycon 2016, the largest annual gathering for the community using and developing the open-source Python programming language. RaRe Technologies is supporting Pycon 2016 as a silver sponsor of the event plus by hosting a coding sprint for RaRe’s open-source platform gensim.
“Pycon is a significant event for us and we are excited to participate on many levels this year,” said Jeff Hoey, Director of Sales for RaRe Technologies. “It is amazing that we have the ability to connect with over 3100 attendees estimated for the event!”
